Austin Walker - Reporter

Austin Walker is an avid news cutter, and he has worked at various News channels as a reporter and as an anchor. He was born and raised in a small town call Prosper, Texas. From Kindergarten, he wanted to be a storyteller.

Austin Walker (Reporter) completed his internship in the summer of 2019 at KDFW - TV FOX 4 News: Dallas, TX.

During his time at KOMU 8, Austin Walker became the lead reporter for "A Brighter Tomorrow," KOMU 8's mental health initiative.

Austin Walker graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism with an emphasis in TV Anchoring and Reporting. While in Columbia, he worked at KOMU 8-TV as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter.

Austin Walker (Reporter) completed his bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri, Columbia with an emphasis on TV anchoring and reporting. At Mizzou, he had the honor of being Truman the Tiger, the University of Missouri mascot. After his time at Mizzou, he landed a job at KVOA in Tucson, Arizona as a General Assignment Reporter.
