Arnetta Parker

I’m a wife and mother. I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan and now reside in Georgia. I think of myself as a curvy canvas painted with various shades, textures and vibrant colors able to bend reshape and expand. I’ve been a writer since the age of twelve. I love the adventures and journeys my characters take me on. Writing is my voice to the world and I’m screaming “fall in love with reading.”

I’ve published two books but have many waiting in the writing wing. Writing and releasing my second book “Love & Cherish”, has taught me that this is a gift that needs constant nurturing and guidance. It’s not about the word count but making each word count. Writing is a lifelong career for me and I’m open and ready for growth, opportunity and help.

The things I love most in life are God, my husband, sons, family and friends. I intend on savoring every second God gives me on this earth by being loving, kind, adventurous, giving and writing.

My idea of a perfect day would start with praise and worship, followed by having breakfast at I-HOP with my husband. The day would end with watching a Marvel movie with my sons. The kinds of people I’d like to meet are those who are nice, loving, caring, funny and giving. That’s important to me because that is what makes the world a better place to live. My life motto is I am, I can and I will. My advice to the world, pursue your dreams with passion.
