In 2001, Chad Polk owned and operated an Internet vehicle listing service for auto dealers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. The need to automate the listing process was evident, and in December 2003, he partnered with Mark Hoffman and Randy Roberts and built what is now known as the AutoRevo Internet marketing platform.
Initially, AutoRevo was established to provide auto dealers a more proficient method of listing and managing their inventory on eBay Motors. The company's product offering soon grew to include search engine optimized dealer websites, mobile dealer websites, a robust inventory management system, used vehicle inventory integration with any online classified vendor, vehicle pricing tools, search engine optimization (SEO), and advanced reporting analytics.
