Anne D'Alton

near Rennes, Brittany, W. France.

I was born in Dublin, Ireland and learned, with the encouragement of my Mother, to start drawing at the age of three. My fascination with machinery, was fostered by my Father and this enabled me to develop a keen interest in cars, bikes and aeroplanes.

At the NCAD in Dublin, I studied for my Art Teacher's Certificate and later studied at Rhodec International for my Diploma in Interior Design. Later on, I founded first, the National College of Interior Design & Art in Dublin, followed by the Dublin School of Art.

In due course, my work took me to Brittany, where I now reside. I work in line & wash, watercolours, oils and in acrylics and specialise in commissions for artwork involving classic cars, motorbikes and aeroplanes. You can see more examples of my work on www.arttocherish.com

For people who wish to improve their artwork or complete an art project, I hold one-to-one Master Class Art courses and lessons.

I am affialliated to the Guild of Motoring Artists in Britain and am a Member of the Artists Association of Ireland.

My hobbies include driving fast cars, touring with my husband on his motorbike; playing the piano and gardening.
