I am a 2013 graduate from the University of Memphis. I have a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics. I majored in Hospitality and Resort Management. In October 2009, I began my working career in the Office of the President as a Student Assistant. Here I was able to network and meet several donors to the college. I assisted the President and 4 other staff members with daily office routines, such as greeting donors, students, parents, faculty, and other department staff either face to face or over the phone and the status of office supplies. In May of 2013, I relocated to Communications, Public Relations, and Marketing to build upon aspects of my major. Within the office of Communications, Public Relations, and Marketing, there was Special Events, where planning of Presidential events take place. In this office, I had the chance to assist with the setup and RSVP list of guests. During football and basketball season, all tickets, parking and VIP passes had to be tracked based on distribution. Upon graduation in December 2013, my status as student assistant would end. And since, I have been on the search for Full Time employment within my field of study and degree. I have a year of retail experience beginning with Nike in June of 2014 and later in October of the same year, Academy Sports and Outdoors. I have over six (6) years of customer service experience, which in October 2013 I began expanding upon. During this time, I obtained a job working as a cashier at the FedEx Forum with the famous bbq restaurant Charles Vergos' Rendezvous. Here began working in a small sector of the food service industry as a draft beer and soft drink server, where up-selling was a main goal. On occasions I would participate in food preparations. With this experience, I gained a position at Collierville Middle School as a part time Nutrition Technician, July 2014 and resigned in May 2015 to continue the search of Full Time employment. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking for my family and friends. My specialties include, chocolate covered strawberries, cheesecake, coconut cake, and various savory dishes.
