Teaching in Elizabeth City

As a vibrant and down-to-earth educator, I embrace life's journey one day at a time, finding joy in simplicity. Originally from Jamaica, I've had the privilege of calling Elizabeth City, North Carolina, my home as a teacher at PW Moore Elementary School. With four years of experience teaching grades 3-4, I've cultivated a passion for inspiring young minds.

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Education from Bethlehem Moravian College (University of the West Indies), I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Education with a focus on K-6 Math at Walden University. When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me unwinding through music, arts, and sports. I'm also an avid fan of Korean culture, often de-stressing with Korean movies, music, and nature walks.

My dream destination is Seoul, South Korea, where I hope to immerse myself in the rich cultural heritage. Ultimately, my aspiration is to become a well-rounded individual, developed holistically, and making a positive impact in the lives of my students and community.
