I have one of the best jobs in the world.

I lead Donor Relations at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. VUMC is committed to making healthcare personal, and my three teams—strategic communications, stewardship, and donor engagement—essentially run a matchmaking business.

It is our responsibility to help VUMC fundraisers cultivate, ask and thank philanthropists who are interested in investing in healthcare advances at a top academic medical center. At VUMC we are taking on the world’s biggest medical challenges from COVID-19 and healthcare disparities to cancer.

I’ve had the pleasure of working in at Vanderbilt University, Emory University and Spelman College during my 15-year career.

When I’m not at work, I either have my head in a book, I’m taking a walk, building LEGOs with my children, or hanging out in the kitchen. I love learning. My top interests are all things related to entrepreneurship, cooking and baking.

I’m currently learning everything I can about personal finance and investing in the stock market. Your advice and counsel are welcomed if you’re an expert in this space.
