Avery Smith

Ever since I was little, I have always loved playing sports. I would be on the playground during recess playing flag football, soccer, or baseball with all the boys in my grade. Most of the time, I was the only girl out on the field in my school uniform, running around and getting dirty. I am not a tom boy or a girly girl, but sports have always been something that I love. I have played soccer since I was three years old, and I have participated in almost every sport at one point in my life. Sports became my hobby and one of my passions at a very young age. I truly enjoy watching any sport, anytime, and anywhere. Every Saturday since I was five years old, I have sat next to my father on the coach or in a stadium, watching football. The sport became my greatest fascination starting as early as seven years old. When I had the chance to play powderpuff football for my high school during homecoming week, I was the first to sign my name up and to try out for quarterback. My fondness for football and athletics have only grown during my life, and I am ecstatic to cheer on the dawgs these next couple of years. I hope to one day have a profession in the sports world.
