Since 1989, Larry Armes Machine Ltd. has been approved by Transport Canada for specialized aviation welding. We offer oxy-acetylene fusion welding, oxy-acetylene brazing, shielded metal arc welding, and tungsten inert gas welding on aircraft parts or components.We also offer on-location aviation welder training for 4130, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. In addition, we are approved by Transport Canada to test/examine welders and/or welding operators as called for in AWS D.17.1/D.17.1M:2010 or AMS-STD-1595.We have extensive experience from Piper J-3 tubular structures up to parts from large, commercial Boeing airplanes and helicopters.
