The founder and president of Lakeshore Engineering, Avinash Rachmale holds certification through the United States Small Business Administration’s HUBZone and 8(a) programs. Over the years, the Small Business Administration has honored Avinash Rachmale with multiple professional distinctions, including a Campion Award for Entrepreneurial Success and a Small Business Person of the Year award. He has also won a Wayne State University Distinguished Engineering Alumni Achievement Award and was inducted into the Wayne State University Engineering School Hall of Fame.
From Lakeshore’s global headquarters in Detroit, Michigan, Avinash Rachmale oversees a global network of more than 40 offices. Under Mr. Rachmale’s direction, Lakeshore has completed a large number of projects for the U.S. government and military. Close to home, it recently signed a self-performance agreement with the City of Detroit to complete a variety of underground water and sewer projects.
