Aviva Betech serves as a marital and family therapy (MFT) Trainee at the First Avenue Counseling Centre in San Diego, California. As an MFT Trainee, Aviva Betech assisted in the provision of therapy to couples, families, and individuals at the counseling center. She also provided therapy to youth at nearby Palomar High School in addition to co-facilitating therapy workshops for victims of domestic violence and substance abuse. Aviva Betech earned her Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego, California, in May of 2011. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, in 2000. In addition to the development of her professional skills, Aviva Betech has also served as a dedicated volunteer in a variety of capacities. From 2005 to 2007, Aviva Betech served as a volunteer at The Kabbalah Centre in San Diego, California, where she assisted children aged 4 to 12 in personal growth programs. In 2009, Aviva Betech served as a Paralegal at the Madge Bradley Courthouse for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, where she helped clients to fill out temporary restraining order forms for such issues as elder abuse and domestic violence.
