Journalist Murray Waas has been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in the category of national reporting for his reporting about U.S. foreign policy during the run-up to the first war with Iraq. Murray Waas also won Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School's Goldsmith Prize. Waas won the Barlett & Steele Business Investigative Prize for an investigation of the health insurance industry. He has won SABEW's honors. And Waas was a fellow with the Alicia Patterson Foundation.
