ANGELA CYRUS, PhD is a former Captain in the U.S. Navy who has led teams and organizations to achieve award-winning results for more than 25 years. Having earned her Ph.D. in Public Administration and Urban Policy from Old Dominion University, she attained competence in leadership studies under the cognizance of the Department of Organizational Psychology. She earned her master's degree in Information Systems from Naval Postgraduate School, and undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Mississippi State University. She is a graduate of the Extraordinary Leader Course at University of Virginia and the Executive Leadership Coaching Program at Georgetown University. Dr. Cyrus has significant experience in higher education administration, teaching and organizational leadership. Consulting at the Naval Academy as Associate Dean for College Enrollment and Strategic Initiatives, her professional experience includes the following positions: Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs, Director of College Operations, and Vice Dean/Director of College Admissions. Dr. Cyrus serves on the faculties of Harvard Summer Institute on College Admissions and the Naval Academy's Leadership, Law and Ethics Department. She has taught graduate courses in Public Administration and Public Policy, and undergraduate courses in Leadership Theory and Application. As President of The Cyrus Group, LLC and creator of the "P" Scriptions for Success™ Leadership Series, Dr. Cyrus provides leadership coaching, training and development to help clients realize their potential to achieve extraordinary results.
