Mohamed Hersi Farah (born May 15, 1991) is a Somali chemist and operational manager known for his work in forensic science and pharmaceutical analysis.

He was born in Burtinle, Nugal, Somalia, and spent his early years in rural Burtinle. At the age of seven, he moved to Balibusle in the Mudug Region, where he attended school until 2006, completing the sixth grade. Later in 2006, he relocated to Galkayo, Mudug, where he continued his education at Abdulahi Binu Abas School, finishing seventh and eighth grades. In September 2008, he began his secondary education at Omar Samatar Secondary School, graduating in May 2012.

Farah then pursued higher education in Khartoum, Sudan, at the International University of Africa, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Industrial Chemistry from the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences in 2017. He continued his studies at the University of Medical Science and Technology, specializing in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control, completing his Master’s degree in 2020.

After returning to Somalia at the end of 2020, Farah worked with Puntland Forensic Science and Najma Factory in Bosaso. He has written articles for the website Diblomaasi.com and published content on SlideShare and Academia.edu. Currently, he serves as the Operational Manager at Falcon Forex Bureau in South Sudan.
