During our three years stay in Manhattan I learned how smart it is to ride a fixed gear bike in a bustling megacity. The bike's simplicity and reliability brings back fun to commuting. Combined with public transportation and some inventive routing urban cycling is an option for a more healthy and sustainable approach to mobility. The fixie is also good for an easily stopover at my favorite places to grap a caffè latte or a craft beer to call it a day.
