Ayahluma Mguzulwa
Public Speaker, Teacher, and Student in Johannesburg, GT, South Africa
Ayahluma Mguzulwa is a Bachelor of Education (BEd) student and a tutor at the University of Johannesburg who is passionate about the transformative power of technology in education. As a passionate African scholar and future teacher, Ayahluma is dedicated to ensuring that ICT is used for equity, empowerment, and innovation across the African continent.
My teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in Bronfenbrenner’s ecological systems theory, which reminds me that education does not happen in a vacuum,it is shaped by multiple layers of a learner’s environment. As an educator, I commit to creating inclusive and learner-centered spaces that recognize and honor these layers. I view every lesson not just as an opportunity to inform but to empower and to serve as a bridge between personal growth and societal transformation.
Driven by the pressing need to bridge the digital divide, Ayahluma promotes inclusive digital transformation wherever he goes. His purpose is based on the concept that the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) is more than just robotics and automation; it is also about advancing human potential, notably through access to 21st-century skills.
