Everything in the universe have their own age , age means when this element was created till date how many the element have passed , this is called age . Age changes in every day , every month and every years. generally an element without life , age is calculated with carbon dating process . Fossils and old rocks , coal , age is calculated by carbon dating process. This is how non leaving element age is calculated , for living element age is calculated from the birth date. from the very first day living element is born is called his birthday , and as the day pass the living element ages increase day by day. The next year the same day is called the birthday of the living person .Every year the same day is celebrated as a birthday of a person , in how many birth day they have spent is called as Age. For example if we tell that the age of a person is 10 , that means the person have passed 10 birthday date till now. This calculation continious till the expiry of a person. when a person is expires , his age calculation is stopped.
