Ayana Free

As a Senior Legal Director for ZocDoc, Ayana Free has the opportunity to put her past decade-plus of experience to the test. she has developed a robust portfolio of experience, education, and skills, starting with her past education. Her education began at Spelman University, where she earned a degree in English. This provided her with a foundation of study, writing, and other skills which she would need as she moved onward into a doctoral program at Duke University. There, she earned a PhD in African American and Caribbean Literature, She then pursued a Juris Doctorate at the New York University School of Law, which she based her career upon. This career has spanned both private practice, government positions, and now a senior leadership role. The skills she has gained over this career include civil litigation, employment law, regulatory enforcement and internal investigations. She continues to value education, valuing a positive work ethic and humble mindset.
