I was born in 1991 in Newcastle, the third-largest city in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. I did my schooling in St Lewis Bertrand's High School (class of 2009). I pursued my physics degree in the University of KwaZulu-Natal where I received my B.Sc in Applied Physics (Summa cum laude, 2012), B.Sc (Hons) Physics (With distinctions, 2013) and my MSc in Astrophysics (Upper second class pass, 2016). In 2017-02, I was appointed as a physics lecturer in Sol Plaatje University and worked there until 2019-03-31. In 2019-04-01, I was appointed as a physics lecturer in the North West University (Mafikeng Campus). Since July 2017, I am busy with my PhD studies and my research focuses on open quantum walks, quantum walks which are strictly driven by dissipation. Beyond 'school' work pursuits, I enjoy fresh air and sunshine.
