Ayden Hector has performed well both in the classroom and on the football field. He plays football with the Colorado State Rams, enabling him to maintain and enjoy the enthusiasm for the game he first discovered as a child. Even though he only participated in 7 games as a Ram, he excelled as a defensive back and was named to the all-conference team.

He was one of the defense's undisputed leaders and stars in 2022. He made 24 tackles and three interceptions throughout the season. On October 7, 2022, he had one of his most outstanding performances of the season: eight tackles, an interception, and one interception return for a score. Hector is still eligible for Colorado State for three more years and anticipates another outstanding campaign in 2023 as he contributes to the team's development.

Ayden has excelled academically and in athletics but has always sought opportunities to give back to his community. He operated an initiative called B.Box while attending Eastside Catholic High School in Washington for all four years and distributed birthday boxes to adolescent shelters there each month. Ayden Hector still conducts monthly deliveries to the Colorado State University on-campus food bank as part of his ongoing B.Box delivery service.

Ayden has excelled as both a student and athlete at Colorado State University, where he plays defensive back for the Rams. His passion for the sport began in childhood and has grown into a collegiate career marked by early recognition. Even with limited playing time, he earned all-conference honors in just seven games, proving his ability to rise quickly through effort, discipline, and a deep commitment to his team and the game.

The 2022 season highlighted Hector’s impact on the field as he became a defensive force. He recorded 24 tackles and three interceptions, consistently showing reliability and playmaking skills. His standout game came on October 7, when he registered eight tackles, picked off a pass, and returned it for a touchdown. With three years of eligibility left, Hector is focused on contributing to the Rams’ growth and continuing his personal development as both a leader and athlete.

Outside of football, Ayden Hector has demonstrated a strong dedication to community service. He founded B.Box in high school, providing birthday boxes for homeless teens, and continues the program today with support from Colorado State’s food pantry.
