Ayer Hangat Village

Ayer Hangat is a must-visit location if you ever venture to Langkawi. The village is famous for one of the only four natural hot springs in the world. The saltwater hot springs aside, visitors can walk through a traditional Langkawi house, and attend some scheduled cultural shows and pottery making classes. The village hosts a Malay heritage tour that showcases the ethnicity and history of the Malay culture.

The natural hot springs at Ayer Hangat have healing properties and is highly recommended for those with various ailments and minor skin conditions such as dry skin, eczema and rashes, among others. Don’t be alarmed by what looks like floating bits of dirt and grime, it is actually algae, and is naturally occurring. Our tickets are affordable for both locals and foreign visitors.
