anthony lee, born and raised in vancouver, canada, is a (sort of) student in simon fraser university, where he is working on moving from his currently declared international studies major to the communications program. he has a passion for all things delicious, challenging and creative. he is an avid language learner; his mother tongue being english and having varying levels of ability in korean, japanese, chinese and french. having several years of experience in coffee shops and movie theatres, anthony is skilled in and enjoys the art of preparing coffee and film projection. he also enjoys travelling and exploring different countries and putting himself in unknown worlds. he has taken an interest in the communications field and is a newcomer to the social media domain.
recently, anthony finished a one year working holiday in seoul, south korea, where he co-lead the communications team of TEDxItaewon. he also worked at a large coffee shop(Twosome Coffee) and an independent cafe(@dasticoffee) located in some of seoul's busiest and trendiest neighbourhoods, gangnam and sinsa.
anthony having returned to vancouver, worked as a contents management and korean marketing intern at ESL Explorer. he no works as the floor manager for the highly rated Tsuki Sushi Bar in trendy Gastown. he also co-leads Languagecast Vancouver, a large weekly meetup group for language learners that is part of the global multilingual meetup, LanguageCast.
