Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering in Beirut, Lebanon
Ayman Kayssi was born in Lebanon. He studied electrical engineering at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is currently a full professor at AUB and associate dean of its Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. He co-founded, with two other professors, SAUGO 360, the first startup to be incubated at AUB. He teaches courses in electronics and in networking, and has received AUB's Teaching Excellence Award. His research interests are in circuit design, information security, and networking and has published more than 240 articles in the areas of security, networking, circuits, and VLSI.
