Aymen Saqib

Hello!

My name is Aymen and I am a 2nd-year Business Management student at Ryerson University. I am majoring in Marketing, and minoring in Retail. I like to consider myself as a student leader, with the purpose to give back to the community that has embraced me for who I am as an individual.

I currently volunteer at the Ted Rogers Student Society as their Social Media Manager, and Breakthrough Mentor. My goal is to use their social media platforms to support first-year students in their transition to university and also support the rest of the student body. 🖥

I am an aspiring digital and influencer marketer 📲 , with the hope to continue to spread diversity and continue brining and enhancing South Asian content creators on the map. I am currently the social media manager for Run the World Summit; an online community of womxn and a series of conferences across Canada that highlight the importance of supporting local female-identifying entrepreneurs 👯‍♀️ . I plan and curate content for their Instagram, and manage their Shopify and website.

On the side, I like to focus on content creation for Instagram and Tik Tok and I am training to become a makeup and hair artist 💄 . I'd like to become a freelance artist in the GTA, focusing on the South Asian Bridal community, and hope to become my own boss one day. I am a big fan of fashion and beauty, whilst also interested in following Lifestyle and entrepreneur related content creators.

I am also an ice cream enthusiast - I worked at Dairy Queen for 2 years and love my soft serve! 🍦
