I found God in myself and I loved her I loved her fiercely —Ntozake Shange I am an educator. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in history from Loyola University of Chicago. I completed my master’s degree in history at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I completed my PhD in history at Loyola University. My PhD Dissertation (Loyola U, 2008) was titled: "The Excluded and the Included: Chicago, White Supremacy and the Clubwomen's Movement, 1873-1915". I just completed my certificate in online teaching through the University of Illinois. I have taught elementary school, high school and college in various locations in the Chicagoland area. During the past few years, I have published historical articles for several academic publications. Currently, I teach history online as an adjunct professor. I offer private yoga lessons to groups. I like to volunteer my time for help our communities. I also enjoy reading books, watching movies, cooking, surfing the internet and working out. Although I was born and still reside in Chicago, I am relocating to a Atlanta for employment. I plan to do a lot of traveling home though and my job will be flexible enough to allow that. In fact, I will be able to travel to many locations. My top destinations are: Italy, Ghana, Jamaica, South Korea and Venezuela! I have a small extended family and a sweet tuxedo cat named Ebony. I am looking forward to really enjoying my life now!
