Ayomide Alamu

Alamu Ayomide popularly known by her stage name- Aysticks was born in Oyo state, Nigeria, where she started playing drums at age 5, and professionally at the age of 15.

Aysticks is currently a Church drummer at Winners chapel (a.k.a Living Faith Church) and official drummer for her band- SOUL VIBES. She has played in several concerts and also participated in various drum clinics and competitions.

In Ayomide's words "Drumming started way back when I was a kid, I love the sound of drums and the way people played it then and I also love music; so I began to hit drums on my own. Drums for me was a natural thing but I didn't stop there I continued by watching some tutorial videos .... But if you would ask me why I love drumming- it is because I love playing it and am always happy when I do. Drums is the fun thing I always enjoy in my life and by God's Grace I'm happy anytime I play the drums and people dance to my rhythm.
