Group CISO, Entrepreneur, and Cybersecurity Investor in Dubai
Ayoub Fathi serves as Group Chief Information Security Officer at Noon. Joining the company in 2017, he designed its security program from the ground up and has since guided it through years of explosive growth—now protecting +10 subsidiaries, millions of customers, and +10,000 employees across MENA. His ability to pair deep technical skills with board-level security strategy has earned him several accolades, and has been included in The New York Times roster of leading global CISOs.
Before stepping into executive leadership, Ayoub spent nearly a decade as an elite white-hat researcher, his work contributed to securing billions of users worldwide. He uncovered hundreds of critical vulnerabilities for Facebook, Google, Microsoft, the U.S. Department of Defense, OpenAI and dozens of other Fortune 100 firms, earning a place among HackerOne’s global top-100 hackers and multiple top-10 finishes at international live-hacking competitions.
With a background in software engineering and entrepreneurial spirit, those formative years cultivated a builder’s mindset that later drove Ayoub to found Sacurify, a security consulting firm, and later join the founding team at Vul9, shaping its go-to-market strategy while advising major clients in MENA.
Ayoub still rolls up his sleeves and writes code as necessary, authors research papers, serves as a trusted advisor for startup founders building security products or wrestling with “security-by-design” decisions, he speaks regularly at GITEX, BlackHat MEA, and GISEC—sharing practical lessons on embedding security into hyper-growth cultures while keeping product velocity and customer trust intact.
