Allison is a Plan II Longhorn grad from central Texas. After years as a math and English high school teacher, working with Teach for America, schools in the southwest, and the Navajo Nation, Allison transitioned to software engineering through the coding bootcamp Makersquare in 2014. She now works as a Product Engineer and Design Lead at One More Cloud (5+ years).
At OMC, Allison is a SAAS product strategist and pragmatic researcher with a focus on Jobs Theory. She designs functional & minimalist UI, and then builds it out with Rails, React, and other front end tools with her incredibly talented and focused colleagues.
A native Austinite, Allison loves connecting with folks in the local tech community, playing volleyball, and enjoying the arts scene.
