Dr. Azeez Abiodun, the man with a plan!

Dr. Azeez Abiodun, MD is one of the most sought after philosophers and physicians in Maryland. The unfortunate death of my mother due to cancer inspired him to find a possible cure for the disease and work for the betterment of people who may be suffering from the same.

Early Life, education

I was born in Lagos Nigeria to Parents Y. Akin and Olabimpe Abiodun. I went to school at Herbert Macaulay primary school, then St. Finbarr’s college and eventually to Federal School of Arts and Science; all of which are situated in Lagos. After that I went to UNILORIN as well as the University of Jos in order to receive higher education in medicine and botany.

Thereafter I worked as the medical officer in Windhoek Central Hospital, with the Namibian government. After that I get relocated to the U.S.A in search for more information on Cancer and studying the topic deeply. At Prince George’s hospital, I joined the internal medicine residency program. Thereafter I received my certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in the year 2005.

Work and success

I have been really active in working with a number of non-profit organizations and works with the prime mission of helping underprivileged people get the right medical attention that they require.I work with a true sense of passion for his profession and this is what sets me apart from others. I am completely dedicated towards my aim of helping people, and has won accolades and appreciation across the globe for the same.

The Family man.

I am a happily married man and have three kids. Though my profession and my philanthropist works kept me really busy and I always make sure to make time for my family and balance both aspects of my life extremely well. I watch movies and am also an avid supporter of the Redskins as well as Arsenal!“I firmly believe that being a doctor, I am blessed with the gift of being able to help others and this is what plan to do for the rest of my life”.
