Azra Petersen
Student, Teacher, and Aesthetician in Johannesburg, South Africa
Hello, I’m Azra Petersen, a third-year Bachelor of Education student at the University of Johannesburg, specialising in Afrikaans and History for the Senior and FET phases (Grades 10–12). Alongside my studies, I work part-time as a Credit Administrator and Nail Technician, developing strong organisational and communication skills. Through my teaching practice at St Catherine's Convent, Greenside High School, and Pinnacle College Linden, I have taught learners in Grades 8–11, strengthening my classroom management and lesson planning skills. I am passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment where every learner feels supported, inspired, and valued. Beyond teaching, I enjoy community service through feeding initiatives, caring for stray animals, and supporting homeless shelters. My goal is to make a lasting, positive impact by helping every learner reach their full potential.
