BEN JOHNSON
Marketing in San Francisco
I believe in building things that matter. I’ve enjoyed a career dedicated to driving impact at massive scale - building businesses and early-stage ventures, growing markets and fostering organisational transformation.
I’ve held a variety of innovation, strategy, marketing and leadership roles at SAP and other technology organisations, working globally from Brisbane, Sydney, New York, Singapore, and now, San Francisco.
I hold a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology and I am an MBA candidate from the Australian Graduate School of Management. I also hold a Graduate Certificate of Social Impact Leadership with UC Berkerley, Haas School of Business, and have completed studies in Corporate Innovation at Stanford Business School, Data Science at Columbia University, Design Thinking at MIT, and International Law at Université catholique de Louvain.
I provide advisory and hold board positions for a number of early-stage enterprise and impact ventures, and chaired investment committees. I am an ICF Accredited Coach and lecture on impact-investing, entrepreneurship, and marketing strategy.
I work with NGOs in The Philippines supporting indigenous communities in Mindanao, and volunteer with NFTEs Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge, mentoring entrepreneurial children in the San Francisco Bay Area.
