Presently living in Linwood,Scotland
Born in Vancouver,BC and have lived all over Canada and the United Kingdom.
I have also traveled all over North and Central America, and most of Western Europe.
My work life started at a young age working at Walthamstow market in London selling women;s shoes. I also worked as a Qualified Ambulance Person with the London Ambulance Service for two years. This was my favorite job.
Upon moving to Canada in 1984 I worked as a carpet cleaner to start with but went on to be a co-founder and financial director of a not for profit helping to get sexually exploited female youth off of the streets and away from their drug and alcohol addictions. (www.nowcanada.ca). I have also sold prearranged funeral plans and cemetery properties but that job had a dead end.
I volunteered at a orphanage in Mexico a couple of times, was a volunteer youth football coach and was the Youth exchange director with Rotary.
I have also been a foster parent.
In 2006 I had a hankering to move back to the UK to be around family and ended up in Linwood, Scotland as I have a niece and nephew in the area whom between them and their respective partners have nine kids who i adore.
Upon arriving here I was a postman in Paisley and went on to work for the local council.
I have been married and divorced three times and have two amazing step sons and a foster daughter living in Vancouver BC Canada.
In 2012 I started to find it very painful just to walk and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis which affects all of my joints.
I had to give up working and these days I don't do much of anything which is why I decided to have a go at this blogging lark.
