Bailey Chase

I am not my thoughts. I am not my feelings. We're all part of something much bigger, much greater. I am a Spiritual Gangsta. I am Bailey Chase. Father. Husband. Actor. Writer.

I was born in Illinois and raised in Florida. I attended Duke University on a football scholarship and graduated with a BA in Psychology in 1995. My acting career has spanned more than twenty years. I was a series regular on Saving Grace, Longmire, As the World Turns, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I am currently portraying CTU Agent Thomas Locke on Fox’s 24:Legacy and will appear in the soon to be released remake of Twin Peaks.

On January 24, 2017, I released my first book, Spiritual Gangsta – the Search for Truth. Spiritual Gangsta is part memoir and part self-help book ensconced in a search for the truth. In the book, I draw from 20 plus years of experience navigating the waters of Hollywood as a professional actor and share heartfelt stories about my spiritual journey across the globe to finally settling down and becoming a new father to twins and a toddler.

I will teach you how to rise above our self-defeating emotions and see things for how they truly are. I also share some very spectacular personal failures and how I have used them to increase the level of happiness and meaning in my life.

I was compelled to write Spiritual Gangsta because I was tired of seeing others suffer from common, fixable frustrations and how disenfranchised our society has become. I not only share the gems I have learned from studying psychology, meditation, parenthood, acting and sports but explain how you can find the truth in any situation and make that human connection as well.
