Bailey Harris is a 2010 graduate of Simpson College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and communications, with a Spanish minor and pre-law concentration. Bailey is a writer and communications professional specializing in social media, political organization, nonprofit public relations, and writing press and web content. She is knowledgeable on a broad range of topics from technological trends and pop culture to international affairs and public policy debates. Bailey has carried a number of leadership roles, from sorority and class president to nonprofit communications director. She is an excellent public speaker, a practiced journalist, and an outspoken social justice advocate. Recent professional experience includes media relations for Amnesty International USA–one of the world’s largest human rights organizations, field organizing for a state political party, client and public relations for a private-practice law firm, and Director of Development and Communications for an equality-focused nonprofit.
