Welcome to Bake It or Fake it, a blog where people who love to bake whether professionally or as a hobby can follow the kitchen adventure of lifelong friends. In a decade long, long ago…ok 22 years to be exact Michelle and Rose met by chance and their bond has been unbreakable. Both women share a love of all things nerdy, all sorts of adventure and whimsical and above all else the ability to share a good laugh.

Michelle lives in Arizona, a fierce independent woman who loves Star Wars, Marvel, and taking on new challenges. During the daylight hours she toils away in an office working as a Payroll Specialist however when the sun goes down and the galaxy is shining it’s twinkle lights of infinite stars she is aligned with the Rebels, however fighting the Dark Side with it’s pull for her to have world dominance. Michelle has taken up the challenge to bake off against Chef Rose to see who can turn out the better dessert, and also to see how easy it is to create the masterpiece.

Rose, or Chef Rosie as she is now known lived most of her life in New York and has been a resident of the Great State of Texas for the past four years. She grew up baking alongside her mother and aunt and 3 years ago decided to follow her heart and love creating all things sweet into a career. She has her degree in Baking and Pastry Specialization. She is convinced that gremlins do take over her kitchen from time to time, or that Loki likes to sabotage her mixer when she’s working the early morning hours creating masterpieces for her events or customers.
