Hi! My name is Balaji C Shankar and I reside in Chennai, India. I am the currently heading Big Data Technical Architecture Practise at Larsen and Toubro with a keen interest in Big Data Opensource Technologies (viz Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Nifi, Spark, Atlas) products deployed across cloud or on-premises (Hortonworks/Cloudera) . I have grown since my arrival in the industry as a Senior Technical Lead at Sun Microsystems (The Oracle Company), USA, and have established myself as an expert professional in Big Data Analytics for the past 5 years. Some of my skills include Technology Expertise, Leadership, Product Management and Banking / Retail Exposure. With more than 17 years of industry experience, I am well versed name in the Strategy Improvement and Software Architecture Enhancement.
