"Passionate about a lot of things, especially providing sustainable solutions to social and environmental issues in Nigeria, Baliqees Salaudeen works consistently as a Social and Sustainable Development, a Communications and Media strategist.
For over 5 years, She actively work and Volunteer in the social and sustainable development space in Nigeria, her activities and impacts spanning environmental management and advocacy, Gender Based Violence, Child's Right, Climate Change Activism, Youth, Community and SDGs Development.
She leads notable Environmental platforms in Kwara State and Nigeria, including PickThatTrash, North Central Climate Conference, Climate Strike/Fridays For Future.
Baliqees is a fellow of the African Youth Leadership Fellowship Program and she holds an E-MBA from the prestigious Accra Business School in Accra, Ghana.
Aside onsite activities and projects, Baliqees uses her social media space to advocate for social development, while encouraging her followers to be Global Citizens by taking sustainable action to solve social development issues together.
Known for her impactful projects and initiatives, Baliqees has been engaged by several organizations and Institutions, including UNDP Nigeria, ICCDI, YIAGA, Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative, DEAN Initiative, ONE, KnowCOVID19, Aid for Rural Education Access Initiative (AREAi), Federal and State Ministry of Environment, Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Office of Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, NOA, IPCR, Kwara State Ministry of Women Affairs and social development, Kwara State Ministry of Youth and Sports development, amongst others.
She is the curator of Unlocking Potentials, Chief Executive and Founder of Bays Planet Foundation, and the President of Girl Up Nigeria.
Baliqees' social impact projects through several organizations, have reached over one million people both offline and online."
