I'm a marketing professional that works in primarily digital formats [social media•video•apps] but I grew up and learned the business in the time of the vinyl record, the printed brochure, an era when these download channels didn't exist. I understand the power they possess, but I'm also comfortable with the underlying concept of communications :: content.
Content is, was, and always will be king. If Side B Track 2 is the only good song, they won't buy the album. You want to sell the full album, not the track.
The world needs more albums. We don't need more hit singles. Your business deserves to be a double album with a gatefold sleeve.
