Passionate about e-technology and it’s revolutionizing capabilities in all walks of society, I’ve developed both a professional and personal enthusiasm for the science of user experience. Unfortunately, this has had the side effect of rendering a good proportion of my time on the web as incredibly frustrating, I can't visit any site without thinking 'what could they have done better'. As they say, ignorance is bliss. I am now driven by a mission to spread the word of usability best practice in order to improve the user experience for both businesses and consumers.
Web habits aside, I'm an avid reader and overall information junkie. Always hungry to learn, I want to know as much as possible about everything interesting. Particular interests are international current affairs, history, science fiction and pretty much all things astronomy related. I'm also a huge movie buff and can talk forever about anything cricket related (the sport, not the insect).
As for where I'm from, I'm the classic confused product of international schooling. British born, from a Kashmiri family, grew up in the Middle East and have spent the last 10 years as a Londoner, that most international of cities. I've recently made the biggest jump of my life relocating to Dubai to join a UX consultancy start up that aims to fight for the user!
