Sarovar began his artistic career writing and performing sketch comedy, but soon began making short films, writing feature screenplays and stageplays. His work for the stage has been performed in Rhode Island and New York City, including an Off-Broadway production. Most recently, he wrote, produced and directed the feature film, a comedy/drama "A Decent Arrangement" shot on super 35 in Chandigarh, India, which has played at numerous festivals in US and abroad. Variety called the film "surprisingly accomplished" and "wry, twist on cultural confusion" while the Mumbai Mirror has placed it amongst significant films which detail the Indian-American experience. He is currently working on television and film projects. He resides in Los Angeles with footholds in India (Chandigarh & Mumbai) and roots in Philadelphia, PA.
