I'm a contemporary fiber artist. You might even call me an obsessive quilt artist. For as long as I can remember art has played a role i my life. My family tree is overflowing with artists. It's in the genes. Art has been a strong influence in my life, eventuality leading to my becoming a painter. . Although I sold my work here and there, as a single mom at the time, my children were my first priority. When my oldest son moved to Oregon, we followed him here. After the move I was introduced to quilting for the first time. I became an avid quilter. My transition to fiber art was a natural one, overlapping my two interests/passions. art & quilting. A fiber artist was born! my work can be found on Etsy. I started a blog [which I think is interesting, hope you do too]. It covers everything from my current works in progress, tutorials, photography, entertaining with imagination to interviews with some of the most interesting and talented quilters and fiber artists in the country. I have sought out many of my favorites. Many of the people who have inspired and influenced me. and I'm sure you know and love their work as well.
