If there's one thread that has connected every stage of my journey, it's this: I love building.
I build brands.
I build businesses.
I build people.
And increasingly, I'm building ecosystems that help others grow.
Over the past 15 years, I've built my career across advertising, banking and FMCG, working with some of Nigeria's most respected organisations and global brands. From my early years in advertising with agencies including SO&U Saatchi & Saatchi, Noah's Ark Communications, DDB Lagos, 7even Interactive, Insight Publicis and Ogilvy, to leadership roles at Fidelity Bank, CHI Limited (A Coca-Cola Company) and now as Head of Marketing at Aspira Nigeria Ltd., every chapter has strengthened my belief that marketing is one of the most powerful drivers of business transformation.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of leading award-winning campaigns, building high-performing teams, managing billion-naira marketing investments and developing strategies that have strengthened brands, grown market share, increased customer engagement and delivered measurable commercial results. I've worked across virtually every dimension of modern marketing—from advertising and brand strategy to digital transformation, public relations, ecommerce, customer engagement, innovation, sustainability and organisational transformation. These experiences have shaped not only the marketer I have become, but the leader I continue to grow into.
But my career has never been my entire story.
I've always believed that the greatest impact we can make happens outside the boundaries of our job descriptions.
That's why I founded CorporateCreative— a movement born from my own journey of balancing executive leadership with creative ambition. Through CorporateCreative, I'm championing a new generation of professionals who refuse to choose between corporate excellence and creative expression. I believe the future belongs to people who can build businesses, think creatively, lead with courage and create value across multiple disciplines.
That same philosophy has inspired every platform I've created.
Through Barbara & 1923, I help professional women embrace beauty, confidence and intentional living—not as vanity, but as an expression of self-worth, identity and leadership.
Through The Knowing Beauty, I'm working to advance sustainability within Africa's beauty industry by encouraging responsible business practices, innovation and long-term thinking. I believe African beauty has the opportunity not only to grow commercially but also to become a global model for sustainable development.
Across all these platforms, my mission remains the same: to help people, brands and organisations become more intentional about who they are, what they build and the impact they leave behind.
Outside my corporate and entrepreneurial work, I'm deeply committed to advancing the marketing profession. I've served as a LAIF Awards Jury Member, industry judge, mentor, speaker and thought leader, and I enjoy creating frameworks, writing, teaching and sharing ideas that help marketers, creatives and business leaders think differently about growth, leadership and the future of our industry.
I'm a graduate of History & Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos, and I've continued to invest in executive education through institutions including Lagos Business School, Harvard Business School Online, Brand Management Academy and other global learning platforms. I see learning not as a milestone but as a lifelong responsibility.
Everything I build is connected by one conviction: success is not measured by the brands we grow or the titles we earn, but by the people we develop, the organisations we strengthen, the industries we influence and the legacy we leave behind.
That's the work I hope to be remembered for.
