Two topics are driving my curiosity: languages and art. And there is the combination of both of these worlds that are - communication. You need your languages to communicate, and art is just another means to communicate without words. These are my passions. My languages are German, English, Mandarin, French, and some Russian, and I have learned and used them in Switzerland, China, Hong Kong, Germany, and Russia.
Trying to find a way to combine all of it since my first day at university, my path is rather zigzagged: MA in Chinese Studies (with a focus on Classical Chinese and Mencius) as well as East Asian and European Art History. Work experience in art galleries in Switzerland, China, Hong Kong and Germany. MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and work experience in Marketing in China. Work experience in PR for galleries and food, wine, and lifestyle products in Germany.
I have published articles on Chinese Contemporary Art and Poetry, and written on Chinese film. Have translated architectural projects, texts in the field of arts and culture, and essays from Chinese to English and German. Occupy my spare time with freelance writing. Have a blog on ballet and art that I randomly fill with content, and try to dance as often as I can.
