Barbara Racek M.ED

I am a writer, consultant, and mother currently living in Portland, Oregon. My interests range from photography to education. I have been an advocate for children, families, equal rights, social justice and world community building. I have consulted in the development of intervention programs to uplift at risk children. I am an avid lover of the outdoors, hiking, climbing, skiing and wilderness trekking. I have incorporated outward bound activities into the programs I designed such as ropes courses, rock climbing, vision quest treks. My work started in the the late 1980's working with Gangs in Seattle and Tacoma Washington.
