Bárbara is a global-minded entrepreneur with interdisciplinary training in the field of organizational psychology, business strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship.
She has lived in Mexico, Denmark and the United States. She is the founder of BSTinnovation, a networks builder that bridges innovation business opportunities from Silicon Valley to Latin-America focused on Corporate Innovation.
She is the Chilean Ambassador of Singularity University based in NASA Research Center in Silicon Valley and Lean Monitor, a Lean Startup Platform.
She teaches Innovation Management to corporations at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez- Eclass.
Her cause is to inspire more women to become innovators, she is the creator of One Billion Women Impact, an Innovation Contest organized by Singularity University and BSTinnovation that looks for women who want to change the world through innovation. She obtained the Women in Innovation Award at the Asia Pacific Economic Forum (APEC) in 2013 in Indonesia and the Young Leaders Award from Diario Financiero in Chile.
She has a Master Degree in Business Psychology and the other in Innovation Management ©from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and a diploma from the Focusing Institute New York. She is the first Chilean woman sponsored by Singularity University to attend the graduate’s studies program and the first woman sponsored by Heidi Roizen, well known investor from DFJ, to attend Draper University in Silicon Valley.
