Barb Huff

Barb began her career as a legal and business research and information specialist and Law Librarian in Australia and the US, and subsequently served as a University Library Director and Manager at multiple institutions. She has worked in Director of Marketing positions and has provided project consulting. Barb exceeds goals and expectations by focusing on innovation and continuous improvement to meet and anticipate ever-evolving needs.

Her business, ASK Barb! provides services on project, temp, as well as on a full-time basis. Barb works both virtually and in-person, in the Los Angeles and Inland Empire area.

Most recently, Barb worked in a year-long full-time university relations position at one of her alma maters during its Centennial year and major fundraising campaign. While there, she conducted prospect research and screenings, identification of foundation and corporate connections, as well as extensive historical and archival projects for the new Faculty Wall of Fame and the Centennial Donor Wall honoring million dollar and above donors.

In the past, as an information research specialist in multiple disciplines, Barb has provided leadership, action plans, and implementation, led and coordinating services in the business, law, nonprofit, entertainment, higher education, and health sciences sectors.
