I am a student originally born in San Antonio, Texas, but raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I am a junior in high school and currently attend Mount Vernon Presbyterian School.

There have been many experiences and moments in my past which have been truly formative to my current views and beliefs. I have been a pretty avid traveler around the U.S and the world; I have been on trips to Paris, Venice, and Ely, Minnesota. I really value the experience of learning new cultures and perspectives because it presents new connections I can create with others. Personal connections with others is why I consider empathy to be my greatest strength; connecting with people is one of the best ways to work with one another from my perspective.

My other strengths and my personal mantra are connected to each other and are resultants from these numerous trips & experiences. "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" is a quote said by my mother in regards to failure and a warning of being ill-prepared for a situation. It was because of this mantra that I see arranging and deliberative thinking to be my other strengths, even if they are still growing. My goal regarding these growing strengths is to connect them to personal relationships and empathetic skills because I believe when all 3 of my strengths integrate, that it will result in flourishing leadership.
