Baron fell in love with country and roots music while watching his dad perform in Texas honky-tonks doing originals and classsics, and his mom performing selections from the American songbook she sang Dallas piano bar she ran. Hundreds of mixtapes later Baron needed to regain his Texsa roots while as a New York City resident, so he created the roots /Americana blog TwangNation.com to share the great music he was discovering. 8-years and hundreds of posts later Baron has become an Americana music locator, curator, and placer.
