Using Power BI, ServiceNow, purchasing records, and data analysis Barret's team was able to increase the asset reclaim rate by 11% in a year, equaling more than half a million dollars and insuring invaluable data was retained.

He also worked closely with the Security and Vulnerabilities team to reduce risk and identify ownership.
At Hamra Enterprises, Barret developed an enterprise-wide Asset Management Solution, built from the ground up, from choosing Asset Management repository, assessing the most valuable solutions, vendor negotiations, as well as development of Process, Procedures, and best Practices.
At Coventry/Aetna, he succeeded in improving processes and increasing the accuracy of the asset inventory system. Chairing a partnership with regional hub sites, he improved Key Performance Indicators by as much as 80 percent. As chair of this group, he was also instrumental in planning and executing a rolling "wall-to-wall" physical inventory, providing accuracy for a migration from Remedy to HP Service Center.
At Walgreen’s Roll Out Command Center he worked on the Wellness Experience Project. The full point of sale (POS) makeover included creating installation documentation and processes, working with project managers and technicians throughout pilot installations. Through effective troubleshooting, timely process improvement, and creative problem solving, the pilot project was completed in time for a national launch.
