David Barrett

After graduating from Dalhousie University (B.A., LL.B), I practised law in Vancouver, British Columbia, from 1983 to 1988. In 1988, I returned to Nova Scotia to provide legal representation for a party in The Marshall Inquiry.

Prior to obtaining my law degree, I was a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, serving my last 4 years with CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service).
